Help supply energy-efficient LCD screens for the WISE@CAT centre - it's all about fighting climate change!

CAT - glass bottle dome.CAT is dedicated to using and promoting low-carbon, energy -efficient technologies. So of course, low-carbon technology is

crucial for all aspects of the new WISE buildings.

When teaching 1000's of students every year, liquid crystal display (LCD) flat screens are much quieter & use much less power than traditional IT screens.

So, as part of the overall strategy to minimise electricity consumption & maximise energy efficiency in the WISE@CAT buildings, CAT plan to install large LCD flat screens in the workshops and seminar rooms, instead of traditional projectors. Showcasing this technology is also an important way of encouraging other organisations to adopt energy efficient technologies and help tackle climate change.

If we all switch to low-carbon technology and lessen the electricity we use, then together, we can lessen the impact of climate chaos & make the future buzz with hope.
Simple things like installing energy-efficient bulbs & refusing to use 'standby' make a huge difference - try it!
