Help get the right medicines without delay to poorly children at Dandora Children’s Centre.

Godfrey - a child at Stars of Hope

The children living at Dandora centre suffering from serious diseases are treated as swiftly as funding allows.  However more funding is needed for regular check-ups and protection against a host of diseases and infections the children constantly battle.  Doctors charge a visiting fee and the hospital and medical centres are in the city – a long, costly bus ride from Dandora.

With 130 children, the centre ideally needs 24 hour medical care: which could be achieved by hiring a full-time nurse to administer first aid supplies and medicines. When a doctor is required, available funds are needed to pay the associated fees.  Immediately, this project will supply first aid equipment, medication and an emergency doctor’s fund.

This is 5 year old Godfrey - who had  horrible burns that needed treatment.

Future projects will help fund a full-time nurse for the centre - who will run a medical centre to educate both the children and local community about disease prevention.

All 130 kids live in close conditions that make it easy for disease to spread - from common colds to much more serious illnesses.
